CONSCIOUS DESIGN
is a process of reconnecting human environments to the natural world and bringing balance back into our urban spaces. It’s about re-imagining cities through creative methods that can revitalise, nurture and inspire the ways we live, learn, work and play.

Urban Jungle
designed to experience
our environment,
breathe into our
surroundings, and feel
the places we inhabit
through the five senses.
Living within
congested urban
spaces disconnects
us from crucial
aspects of our
existence.
Removing the
harmonising elements
found within nature
produces desensitised,
depleting environments
that feel draining.
From fluorescent
lighting to artificially
controlled climates,
we eliminate the
delicate dance playing
out between
daylight and darkness.
When our natural
rhythms become
confused, we unhealthily
emphasize excessive
action and doing, while
deprioritising stillness
and relaxation.

MY STORY
IMOGEN DUNN
I’ve always enjoyed expressing my creativity, and decorating the spaces around me became my outlet.
Growing up in the UK, I became so bored with my childish floral wallpaper in my early teens that
I decided to transform my entire bedroom, plastering 90’s fashion ad’s torn from magazines all over the walls.
I instantly felt how this completely changed the atmosphere of my room.
I began to seek out new ways to play with the feeling of my space, experimenting with
creating more serenity and calmness in my life by painting over the ads with beautiful murals of stars and planets.
My personal space continued to evolve, just like me.
My career in the fashion industry took my interest in recreating spaces to a much deeper level.
I spent over a decade working within marketing and branding for global fashion companies, and loved breathing life
into the brands I managed. My work involved cultivating the powerful first impression everyone feels when they
walk into an inspiring store, work place or event.
I relocated from London to Hong Kong in 2012, and this became the place where my interest in the relationship
between spaces and how we inhabit them intensified. I was now living and working in one of the most densely
populated cities in the world, and I recognised an even greater desire to cultivate a sense of calmness and
individuality in the places I spent most of my time. I needed space where I could breathe, feel, relax and unwind.
I founded Re-Imagen in 2017, a company inspired by the culmination of my working and living experiences
around the world, and born from my passion to share what I love doing with others.
